Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all subscriptions purchased through StatusBuddy Technologies ("we", "our", "us") for the WhatsApp Status Pack service. Please read this policy carefully before subscribing.
Our subscription model involves a ₹3 one-time mandate setup fee charged at the time of subscription initiation, followed by a ₹250/month recurring autopay processed via Razorpay.
2. Mandate Setup Fee (₹3)
The ₹3 mandate setup fee is a one-time, non-refundable charge collected by Razorpay to register your e-mandate (recurring payment instruction) with your bank. This fee is charged by the payment processor and cannot be reversed once the mandate is successfully registered, regardless of subsequent cancellation.
3. Monthly Subscription Fee (₹250/month)
3a. Cancellation Before Charge
You may cancel your subscription at any time before the next billing date to avoid being charged for the following month. If you cancel at least 24 hours before your next scheduled billing date, no further charges will be made to your payment method.
3b. Refund on Current Billing Period
StatusBuddy Technologies provides digital content services. Once a monthly content pack has been delivered to you (made available via your registered email or delivery channel), that month's subscription fee of ₹250 is non-refundable, as the digital content has been consumed or made accessible.
However, if you have been charged and no content has been delivered for that billing cycle due to an error on our part, you are entitled to a full refund of ₹250 for that billing period. Please contact us within 7 days of the charge to claim this refund.
3c. Refund Window
- Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the disputed charge.
- Requests submitted after 7 days will not be eligible for a refund.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to your original payment method, subject to your bank's processing timelines.
4. How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription through any of the following methods:
- Email us: Send a cancellation request to support@StatusBuddy.in from your registered email address. Include your full name and registered mobile number. We will process your cancellation and confirm via reply within 2 business days.
- Cancel via your bank: You may revoke the Razorpay autopay mandate directly through your bank's net banking portal or mobile app under "Manage Mandates" or "Auto-Pay" settings.
- Contact form: Submit a cancellation request via our Contact page.
Upon successful cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current paid billing period, after which no further charges will be made.
5. How to Stop Autopay
Your monthly ₹250 autopay is managed via a Razorpay e-mandate. To stop autopay, you must revoke the mandate. You can do this by:
- Emailing us at support@StatusBuddy.in — we will initiate mandate cancellation on your behalf within 2 business days.
- Logging into your bank's net banking portal and revoking the standing instruction or e-mandate linked to StatusBuddy Technologies / Razorpay.
- Calling your bank's customer support to cancel the standing instruction.
Please note that revoking the mandate directly with your bank without notifying us will cancel future payments but does not constitute a formal subscription cancellation. Please also notify us to update your account status.
6. Refund Process
To request a refund, email support@StatusBuddy.in with:
- Your full name and registered email address
- Your registered mobile number
- The date and amount of the transaction in question
- Reason for the refund request
We will review your request and respond within 3 business days. If approved, refunds are credited to the original payment source (bank account, UPI, or card) via Razorpay within 7–10 business days.
7. Chargebacks & Disputes
We encourage you to contact us directly before raising a chargeback with your bank. Most issues can be resolved quickly. Raising a chargeback for a valid subscription charge may result in your account being suspended. If you believe a charge was made in error, email us at support@StatusBuddy.in first.
